ST. PETER'S CHAPEL, GRAND DETOUR, ILLINOIS. This church, now a chapel of St. Luke's Episcopal parish of Dixon, Illinois, is the second oldest Episcopal church in the Diocese of Chicago. The cornerstone was laid on June 17, 1849.
