I wil Try to answer your questions I and Abe Lincolen ware in New orleans several times together but I Dont Now whether he got his fortune told or Abe Lincolens Mothers Name was Nancy Hanks and was Bornd in virginia and was Maried to Thomas Lincolen in Washington County kentucky June 12th 1806 her Fathers Name was Joseph. Hanks Lincolns his step Mothers Name was Sarah Bush

1. It is doubtful that AL and Hanks made more than one trip down the Mississippi together. According to AL, Hanks did not go all the way to New Orleans in 1831 but turned back at St. Louis. See CW 4:64.
