Do You Know any thing Concerning the Courtship and Engagement of Abraham Lincoln and Ann Rutledge If so state fully Concerning the same

Well I had an Oppertunity to Know and I do Know the facts. Abraham Lincoln and Ann Rutledge were Engaged to be married. He came down and was with her during her last sickness and burial. Lincoln was Studying Law at Springfield Ill. Ann Rutledge Concented to wait a year for their Marriage after their Engagement until Abraham Lincoln was Admitted to the bar. and Ann Rutledge died within the year.
