1. When the right over wrong shall prevail,
And the woes of our people shall cease,
Then all trades and produces shall hail
With a shout the glad triumph of peace.

It will come, by-and-by,
When the makers to manhood have grown,
It will come, by-and-by,
Then the age of true manhood shall dawn.

2. We shall sing on that glorious day,
The melodious songs of the blest;
And our wives then shall sorrow no more,
