The Last Bull Run.
Bull Run is destined to be full of bloody memories. A battle was some days ago fought in that immediate region, and partly on the same spot, and Gen. Pope now announces another greater than all its predecessors, on the identical field where our first great defeat was sustained. Pope estimates his own loss at eight thousand killed and wounded, and that of the rebels loss is correctly put or not, it is a satisfaction to know that the rebel advance was checked, Jackson driven back and the national capital saved from an immediate siege or assault. The full particulars of this bloody combat will be looked for with great interest. If Pope's report of his own success is fully sustained, it will do not a little to wipe out the reproach of the first Bull Run.
