From Washington. Death of President Lincoln.

Monday, April 17, 1865.
The following dispatch from one of the editors of this paper, now in Washington, dated at five P.M., on Saturday, was received yesterday:
WASHINGTON, D.C., April 15 — 5 P.M.
Editors Illinois State Journal:
President Lincoln died to-day at seven o'clock and twenty-two minutes.
Mr. Johnson was inaugurated as President at 11 o'clock.
J. Wilkes Booth is not arrested.
Illinoisans in this city met to-day and appointed a committee to arrange for the removal of the remains of President Lincoln to Illinois.
All quiet here. The cabinet will remain unchanged for the present. MR. LINCOLN'S POLICY WILL BE CARRIED OUT.
Gen. Grant is here. The whole city is draped in mourning.
