Good tidings come fast. An official dispatch from Secretary Stanton announces the possession of Wilmington by Gen. Schofield's army. Will the Richmond Dispatch consider the loss of this place a cause for cheerfulness instead of gloom, as it pretends to regard the fall of Charleston! Verily, the iron chamber is contracting on Richmond, and Lee's army must leave or be crushed within its closing folds.
