Further About The Retreat.

The telegraph to-day puts a little better aspect upon the unfortunate affair at Bull Run. It now appears that the number of killed and wounded has been greatly exaggerated. Our loss is put down at from 300 to 500. It would appear, however, that the enemy have taken many prisoners. Sherman's and Burnside's Batteries were both saved. Our troops have fallen back to their former entrenchments; and active preparations are being made to retrieve the disaster which has befallen the Union forces.
