is now played out. The rage of the Black Republican papers is to show wherein the enthusiastic African is superior to the sluggish white man. The Abolition officers are unceasing in their praises of a nigger brigade that landed on the coast of Florida and took possession of an unoccupied town. They assert that as a general rule, in discipline, drill, valor, enthusiasm, and freedom from vice, the darkeys are vastly superior to the poor whites. We had supposed the Republicans would be satisfied with simple equality, but it seems we were mistaken. — "Negro superiority" is now the cry.
