JOHN TRUMBULL TO COLONEL PATTERSON.

SIR: The General is pleased to order that the rendezvous for your regiment on the new establishment be at Springfield, in the State of Massachusttts-Bay.

To this place you will order your officers and men to repair on the 1st of January, and will there wait orders as to the Army which you are to join.

Given at Head-Quarters, Albany, this 30th day of November, 1776.
