ORDERS TO COLONEL BELLOWS.

State of New-Hampshire, Exeter, December 13, 1776.

Pursuant to directions from the Committee of Safety for this State to me, you are hereby required and authorized to take up any soldiers inlisted by this State for the Continental service, who have neglected to march forward to join their respective companies, or any who have deserted, or may desert hereafter, and confine or send them forward to the Corps they belong to as occasion or convenience offers, and to call on the military officers under you to assist therein.
