At a Meeting of the Committee of Safety, and the Committee of Supplies, at Captain Stedman' s, at Cambridge, on Monday, February 13th, 1775, Present:
COMMITTEE OF SATETY. The Honourable John Hancock, Esq˙, Mr˙ Palmer, Deacon Fisher, Captain White, Mr˙ Watson, Colonel Heath, and Mr˙ Devens.
COMMITTEE OF SUPPLIES. Colonel Lincoln, Mr˙ Gill, and Elbridge Gerry.
Voted, That the Committee of Supplies be desired to purchase all the Powder they can, upon the best terms they can.
Voted, That Captain White and Colonel Lincoln be a Committee to wait on Colonel Robinson, and receive from him the four brass Field-Pieces, and two brass Mortars, now in his hands, the property of the Province, and as soon as may be, remove them to the Town of Concord; and they are to inform him, that the Committee agree, in case of a rupture with the Troops, that the said Field-Pieces shall be for the use of the Artillery Companies in Boston and Dorchester; and if matters are settled without, paid Field-Pieces are to be returned to said Robinson.
