Hartford, May 7, 1775.
We, the subscribers, do fully approve of the plan for establishing a constitutional Post-Office offered by Mr˙ Goddard, and do recommend Mr˙ William Ellery, of this place, to receive and forward all Letters, until the business of the Post-Office shall be regulated by the Continental Congress.
