The Petition of James Cargill humbly showeth: That your petitioner finds the tending of military duty greatly breaks in on his time of manufacturing saltpetre, which he is beginning in Orange County, and therefore would humbly entreat this honourable body to clear him of all such duty, that he may propetly attend the above business without losing so much time; and your petitioner shall ever pray.
