Baltimore, Friday, December 20, 1776.
Congress met according to adjournment.
The Delegates from Georgia produced the Credentials of their appointment, which were read as follows:
"In Convention, Savannah, October 9, 1776.
"The Convention proceeded to ballot for Delegates to represent this State in the Continental Congress for the year ensuing: when, on closing the poll, it appeared that John Houston, Lyman Hall, Button Gwinnett, George Walton, and Nathan Brownson, Esqrs˙, were duly elected, and declared so accordingly.
"A true copy from the Minutes.
"EDWARD LANGWORTHY, Secretary."
