Twenty Pounds advanced to Captain Benjamin Coe


The Convention were informed by a Member that Captain Benjamin Coe, who lately commanded a Company in Colonel Smith' s Regiment, on Nassau Island, is in distressed circumstances, and that from his muster-roll of the time of said Company' s service, it appears that the pay due to him amounts to about twenty Pounds, and request that he may have an order on the Treasurer for that sum on account,

Therefore, Ordered, That the Treasurer of this State advance to Captain Benjamin Coe, of Colonel Smith' s Regiment, drafted from the Militia on Nassau Island, the sum of twenty Pounds, and take his receipt on account for the same, on the settlement of the pay-rolls of the said Regiment.
