Hon˙ MOSES GILL, Esq˙:

SIR: Captain Soames is about making application to the honourable Board for an exchange of shot, for the four pieces of cannon they received from on board the Diligent, (which, by the way, are only two-pounders,) for some six-pounders they have by them; and as the State has no six-pound shot, I should think the exchange would be of real service to the State.
