Committee Report the Assent of Dr. Zubly' s Congregation

Tuesday, July 11, 1775.

John Houstoun and Nolle Wimberly Jones, Esquires, appointed to request the consent of Doctor Zubly' s congregation for their permission for him to go to Philadelphia, reported, that they had done so, and that the said congregation had voted that they were willing to spare their Minister for a time for the good of the common cause. Doctor Zubly then declared that he was willing to go, and thanked the Congress for so signal a mark of honour and confidence.
