The House met according to adjournment. Read the Journal of yesterday' s proceedings.

Mr˙ Skirving reported that Mr˙ Ladson and himself had waited on the President with the Messages they had in charge, and that his Excellency was pleased to say he would issue the orders requested in the one, and commissionate Captain Allen as desired in the other.
