The application of Benj' n Justeen, Chairman of Goshen Precinct, for the sense of Congress relative to certain Scotch Prisoners stationed in Goshen by the Committee of Prisoners; also a Letter signed Daniel Walker, on behalf of said Prisoners; and also a Letter from John Broome, Esq˙, and others, of the Committee of Prisoners, were received and read, and committed to a Committee consisting of Mr˙ Robert Harper, Mr˙ Cantine, and Mr˙ Cuyler.
A Letter from General Scott, received by Lieutenant Mott, with two disaffected persons, viz: Gersham Smith and, was read.
Ordered, That the Letter, Lieutenant, and Prisoners be severally referred to the Committee for detecting Conspirators.
The Committee adjourned till nine o' clock to-morrow morning.
